Section 1
Privacy Policy
BIORAMS Pvt. Ltd. (“BIORAMS”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits this website or contacts us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
1.1 Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to provide, together with limited technical information generated automatically when you browse.
- Enquiry details. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, organisation, email address, and optionally your phone number and country, along with the description of your project or enquiry.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. These are used for security and diagnostic purposes.
- Cookies. This website sets a session cookie required for form security (protection against cross-site request forgery). Embedded maps, if you choose to load them, may set third-party cookies controlled by the map provider.
1.2 Why we process it
- To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it.
- To assess whether BIORAMS can support a proposed study or collaboration.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the website.
- To meet any applicable legal or regulatory obligation.
We process enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence.
1.3 What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing, and we do not add enquirers to mailing lists without a separate, explicit opt-in.
1.4 Research participant data
This policy covers website visitors only. Personal and health information relating to participants in BIORAMS clinical studies is governed separately by the approved study protocol, the participant information sheet and informed-consent documentation for that study, together with the requirements of the relevant Ethics Committee. Such data is never collected through this website.
1.5 Retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to respond and to maintain a record of business communications, and is reviewed periodically. Server logs are retained for a limited period in line with our hosting provider’s standard practice. You may ask us to delete your enquiry data at any time.
1.6 Sharing
Enquiry information may be shared internally with the BIORAMS scientific and administrative team assessing your request, and, where directly relevant to your enquiry and appropriate to do so, with our collaborating partner Universal Pathology Laboratory SA. We use reputable third-party service providers for website hosting and email delivery, who process data on our instructions.
1.7 Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask that it be corrected or erased, withdraw consent previously given, or raise a grievance about how your data has been handled.
To exercise any of these rights, contact Mr. Nanduri Sai Krishna Kumar, Managing Director, at saikrishna@biorams.com.
1.8 Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information submitted through this website, including transport encryption and form-security controls. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Disclaimer
Not medical advice
The information on this website is provided for general and professional information only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a recommendation for any test, treatment or course of action. Anyone with a health concern should consult a qualified healthcare professional. Nothing on this site should be used to self-diagnose or to make decisions about personal medical care.
3.1 Research and investigational status
BIORAMS conducts clinical research and diagnostic performance-evaluation studies. Descriptions of studies, assays, methods or technologies on this website are provided to explain the nature of our research activity. They do not represent any claim regarding the regulatory approval status, clinical validity, safety or performance of any diagnostic product, whether or not that product is named.
Any product under evaluation is described as an investigational or evaluation subject. Publication of study descriptions does not imply that a product has been approved by any regulatory authority for clinical use, nor that a study has concluded or that results are available.
3.2 Capability descriptions
Descriptions of capabilities, infrastructure, laboratory access and study populations describe what BIORAMS is able to support or arrange, directly or through its collaborators and the research ecosystem in which it is incubated. They are indicative rather than contractual, and the specific arrangements for any project are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Where the site describes proposed or planned activity — including research and development programmes and funding applications — these represent intended directions rather than completed work or secured funding.
3.3 Accuracy
We take reasonable care to ensure the information published here is accurate at the time of publication. Scientific, regulatory and organizational information changes, and we make no warranty that all content is complete, current or error-free. Content may be amended without notice.
3.4 Third-party and collaborative content
Information describing collaborating organizations, their services, accreditations or history is provided on the basis of information supplied by those organizations. BIORAMS is not responsible for its ongoing accuracy.
